It’s really, really important to know your wedding photographer, and to make sure they’re a good personality fit for you, your partner, and your family & friends, since you’ll be spending the whole day with them. So, here’s a little bit about me!
Hi there! I’m so lucky to call myself a wedding photographer. It’s not a job, it’s a joy. I get to witness the most amazing moments between couples and their nearest and dearest, and capture memories that can be shared for eternity.
I’m a husband, father, dog lover, coffee drinker, piano tinkler, and a hopeless romantic. I love cars, bikes, music, lego, technology, cheese & wine (always together), dark chocolate, and good shoes!
I haven’t always been a photographer; it’s something I kind of fell into. I’m not going to tell you how I picked up my Grandfather’s box brownie when I was a kid, or that I got a diploma in photography at this or that institution. Nope, I’m purely self-taught. I actually went on an overseas trip with some mates around 12 years ago, and fell in love with taking portraits of the amazing locals I met, and capturing the scenes of daily life in a foreign place. When I returned, I realised that I wanted to continue telling stories through imagery, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Grooms-to-be will be pleased to learn that I can tie a tie, a bowtie, and know the right way to put on cufflinks. Ladies, I can bustle a dress, pin in a veil, and always carry Hollywood tape, bobby pins and breath mints!
