WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AGREEMENT

This agreement is made between Corey Wright (The Photographer) and The Couple.

  1. The Couple authorise The Photographer to carry out photographic coverage of our Wedding for the duration agreed.
  2. The Couple has received, read and understand the Package inclusions provided by The Photographer, and agree to the booking fee and instalment schedule.
  3. The Couple understand that date is secured by a 1/3 booking fee (unless the wedding falls within 3 months, in which case a bit 50% booking fee applies), to be paid at the time of booking.  Furthermore, The Couple agrees to pay the 2nd instalment 3 months prior and the remaining balance at least two weeks prior to the Wedding Day, following receipt of invoices. Failure to do so gives The Photographer the right to refuse to carry out the full Package services.
  4. The details and times provided to The Photographer for the Wedding Day form part of this agreement, and The Couple agree to make every effort to cooperate in order for The Photographer to fulfil his contracted photographic duties.
  5. The Couple acknowledge The Photographer cannot accept responsibility for the extent of the photographic coverage if these details are incorrect, or if The Couple choose not to follow the schedule provided.
  6. To avoid disruption to the photographic coverage and to allow The Photographer to fulfil his contracted duties, all other photography by family and friends will be at the discretion of The Photographer. (I highly recommend an unplugged ceremony)
  7. At any point should The Photographer be threatened, abused or assaulted by any guest or wedding party member, The Photographer reserves the right to ask that the offender be removed – such behaviour will not be tolerated.
  8. The Couple agree to organise for a meal to be provided to The Photographer so he doesn't collapse in a heap!  Your reception venue should offer supplier meals.
  9. The Couple accept the responsibility to contact The Photographer at least two weeks prior to the Wedding to confirm final details and any alterations.
  10. The couple agree to immediately advise The Photographer in writing of the postponement or cancellation of the wedding.
  11. In the event of complete cancellation of the wedding The Couple understand and agree that all monies paid will be forfeited.
  12. If The Photographer is incapacitated through illness, injury or any other unforeseen circumstance and therefore unable to photograph The Couple’s wedding, The Photographer shall notify The Couple immediately and make every effort to provide another photographer with equivalent skills, with all post production, editing, and image delivery to be completed by Corey Wright. If The Photographer is unable to provide a replacement photographer, The Photographer will provide a full refund.
  13. In the event of the wedding’s postponement to a later date due to events beyond either parties control, including industrial disputes, natural disasters, wars, strikes, medical emergencies, epidemics, embargoes, or abnormal weather conditions, all monies paid will be transferrable to a new, mutually agreeable date (based strictly on availability).
  14. In the event of the wedding’s postponement, should The Couple select and lock in a date that The Photographer has confirmed he is not available, The Couple understand and agree that all monies paid will be forfeited. Furthermore, if that rescheduled date falls within 3 months of the original wedding date, the total remaining balance of The Couple’s original package is payable. Should the couple wish, they may request The Photographer to provide another photographer with equivalent skills to shoot the wedding, with all post production, editing, and image delivery to be completed by Corey Wright.
  15. The Couple agree that the Photographer is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered that is caused or contributed to by any event beyond the Photographer’s control including but not limited to loss or theft of digital files, industrial disputes, natural disasters, wars, strikes, medical emergencies, epidemics, embargoes, or abnormal weather conditions that prevent The Photographer from performing his photographic duties.
  16. The Couple agree and understand that The Photographer does not provide advanced photo manipulation/retouching such as body or face alterations. As per The Photographer’s style, photos will be kept ‘real’, and as such will be a true representation of how things appeared on the day. Photos will not be edited to alter the appearance of people, clothing or other objects.
  17. The Couple agree the Copyright is to be shared by The Photographer and The Couple. The Couple grant the Photographer permission to use any image from The Wedding for industry competitions and for advertising and marketing purposes / Social Media (unless you’d prefer they weren’t, in which case you can simply let me know). The usage for any other purpose is to be renegotiated between the parties and requires specific permission. The Couple agree that no images provided will be used for any commercial purpose by any other person without first obtaining written permission from The Photographer.
  18. The Couple agree that the digital negatives (RAW files) remain the property of The Photographer and will not be provided.
