WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AGREEMENT
This agreement is made between Corey Wright (the Photographer) and The Couple.
We authorise the Photographer to carry out photographic coverage of our Wedding for the duration agreed.
We have received, read and understand the Package inclusions provided by the Photographer.
We understand that our booking is not secured until the 1/3 deposit has been paid. Furthermore, we agree to pay the 2nd instalment 3 months prior and the remaining balance at least two weeks prior to the Wedding Day, following receipt of invoices. Failure to do so gives the Photographer the right to refuse to carry out the full Package services.
The details and times provided to the Photographer for the Wedding Day form part of this agreement, and we agree to make every effort to cooperate in order for the Photographer to fulfil his contracted photographic duties.
We acknowledge the Photographer cannot accept responsibility for the extent of the photographic coverage if these details are incorrect, or if we chose not to follow the schedule provided.
To avoid disruption to the photographic coverage and to allow the Photographer to fulfil his contracted duties, all other photography by family and friends will be at the discretion of the Photographer. (I highly recommend an unplugged ceremony)
At any point should the Photographer be threatened, abused or assaulted by any guest or wedding party member, he reserves the right to ask that the offender be removed – such behaviour will not be tolerated.
A meal will be provided to the photographer so he doesn't collapse in a heap! Your reception venue should offer supplier meals.
We accept the responsibility to contact the Photographer at least two weeks prior to the Wedding to confirm final details and any alterations.
We agree to immediately advise the Photographer in writing of the postponement or cancellation of the wedding.
In the event of cancellation of the wedding or the Photographer we understand that any monies paid will be forfeited.
If the photographer is incapacitated through illness, injury or any other unforeseen circumstance and therefore unable to photograph your wedding, he shall notify you immediately and make every effort to provide another photographer with equivalent skills, or if unable to, provide a full refund.
We agree that the Photographer is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered that is caused or contributed to by any event beyond the Photographer’s control including but not limited to loss or theft of digital files, industrial disputes, or weather conditions that prevent the Photographer from performing his photographic duties.
We understand that the Photographer does not provide advanced photo manipulation/retouching such as body or face alterations. As per the Photographer’s style, photos will be kept ‘real’, and as such will be a true representation of how things appeared on the day. Photos will not be edited to alter the appearance of people, clothing or other objects.
We agree the Copyright is to be shared by the Photographer and ourselves. We grant the Photographer permission to use any image from our Wedding for industry competitions and for advertising and marketing purposes. The usage for any other purpose is to be renegotiated between the parties and requires specific permission. We agree that no images provided to us will be used for any commercial purpose by any other person without first obtaining written permission from the Photographer.
We agree that the digital negatives (RAW files) remain the property of the Photographer and will not be provided to us.
We have read and understand the above conditions and hereby agree to the terms. Please sign and submit below.
